Today, a look at Kristina & Patrick's wedding day this past weekend at the Aspen Wedding Deck with reception at The Little Nell. It was such an honor to capture this gorgeous autumn wedding in Aspen for this sweet couple—I loved every minute.
The bride's friend, Nha Khahn, is a fashion designer who created a couture gown from Kristina's grandmother's 75-year-old lace wedding dress.
Kristina chose the sweetest group of ladies to stand by her side throughout her day. Each of these lovely ladies enriched her day and kept her smiling.
Leon Joseph Littlebird performed a Native American flute and ceremony for the couple. The Native American flute was used as a right of passage for ceremony and healing, and has a long tradition of being sacred, romantic and peaceful. At one point, Littlebird called to the spirits of the couple's loved ones who have passed on, and with his call, birds joined the ceremony by flying into the surrounding trees.
An intimate, dimly lit dining room can be transformed into a warm, elegant space with the help of a creative and organized designer. Emily at Bella Event Design & Planning was just the person to create this beautiful room for Kristina & Patrick and their guests.
